Boys
10U Boys – Tyler Patch

Entering his third season on the AAU circuit as a coach, Patch is ecstatic to continue coaching with the up and coming M-Plex AAU program. Patch, a graduate from Seekonk High School and current Physical Education major at Rhode Island College, believes that his countless experiences around the game of basketball will benefit his team and players.
At Seekonk High School, Patch holds several records including points scored (1,746), points scored in a season (656/29.8 ppg), and three point field goals made in a career (144). Following an outstanding senior season, Patch was an all-state selection for the Boston Globe, Boston Herald, and the Massachusetts Basketball Coaches Association. After graduating from Seekonk High School, Patch continued his playing career at Keene State College and the Community College of Rhode Island.
Currently this winter, Patch has chosen to focus on his education and would like to pursue his aspirations of one day becoming a college head coach. Patch is also familiar to the AAU circuit, as he has attended the AAU National Championships in Cocoa Beach, Florida and Memphis, Tennessee after winning state championships in Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
11U Boys Red – Joe Scaringello

Joe Scaringello is entering third season with M-Plex. He is currently the head coach of the Franklin Metro 4th grade boys A team.
With the AAU team, he has compiled a record of 31-10 in the Spring /Fall combined: Spring (11-8) Fall (20-2). The team has captured six tournament championships in that time. This past fall season they made it to the Finals in all seven tournaments entered.
Coach Scaringello puts an emphasis on a team-first environment.
12U Boys – Stephen Wilson (Coach Mad)

Coach Mad is entering his second season with the M-Plex program. Coach Mad joins the M-Plex coaching staff after a brief hiatus from the AAU circuit. From 1998-2010, Wilson was the director for the AAU program called “MAD” based out of Boston.
As a coach in his own program, MAD won 6 state titles, two New England Super Regionals and a national invitational tournament in Myrtle Beach.
13U Boys –Todd Usen

Usen is entering his 5th season in the M-Plex AAU program. Todd Usen has been coaching travel and tournament teams in all sports for 7 years and most recently coached the M-Plex u12 boys AAU team this past fall and spring and won 8 tournament championships, achieving a record of 45-8. He has coached a Sharon MetroWest boys and girls team for the last two seasons. He was captain of his high school basketball team in Marlboro, NJ and played collegiate baseball at UMASS.

15U Boys – Brian Moy

Moy is entering his 7th season in the M-Plex AAU Program. Prior to joining M-Plex Moy spent 4 seasons coaching with the Boston Mavericks. Moy has coached at all levels in the Metro West for the past 4 years. During that time he has spent time as the player development coordinator for the Westwood Youth Basketball program. Moy has served as a coach/instructor at a number of area camps.
This past Spring Moy led his U13 team to earn a coveted invitation to the Division 1 National Championship Tournament, the Massachusetts Silver Medalist winner in Division II, and an invitation to the New England National Championship Series Tournament.
Coach Moy has a simple basketball philosophy. Place special emphasis on developing skills not drills, prepare for success on the court by replicating game situations in practice, and teaching players to take learned skills and applying those skills in real game situations. Coach Moy's passion is teaching hard nosed man to man defense.

Girls
10U Girls -Ben Leder

Ben Leder is entering his second season with the M-Plex AAU program.
11U Girls – Alex DaLuz

DaLuz is the director of the M-Plex AAU program. DaLuz played at the college level for Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI. As a four-year varsity player and three-year starter at Seekonk High School from 1998-2002, he amassed over 920 points and made 140 3-point field goals. DaLuz still holds SHS records for 3-pointers made in a game (8) and in a season (60).
Since 2006, DaLuz has coached all levels of girls and boys basketball. During the winter of 2010-11 DaLuz served as Norton High’s junior varsity boys coach and lead varsity assistant. The Lancers finished 15-7 on the varsity level, while DaLuz’s JV team went 14-4. DaLuz spent prior four years as the head coach of the boys Hurley (Seekonk) Middle School team.
DaLuz is in his first season as the girls’ varsity coach of the Norwood High School Mustangs.
In the spring of 2011, DaLuz’s 10U girls team finished 5th in the D1 Mass State Tournament, losing to the eventual champion after losing a two-point halftime lead in the elite eight.
In the fall of 2011, DaLuz went 16-1 with the M-Plex Beasts.
12U Girls – James Reen

Reen is entering his fifth season coaching in the M-Plex AAU program. In the spring of 2011, he guided the 11U team to fourth place in the D1 state tournament.

Elms is entering her 5th season coaching in the M-Plex AAU program. She is also an assistant women’s basketball coach at Curry College. Elms coaches in the Stoughton youth travel metro program.
14U Girls – Mark Spolidoro

Coach Spolidoro is entering his 5th year and 6th season coaching girl’s AAU basketball. Coach Spolidoro has also coached in the Metro West travel basketball league and in his town’s boys and girls’ youth leagues for the past 5 years. Coach Spolidoro has run many player skill development clinics and coaching clinics over the past 10 years. Coach Spolidoro AAU teams have traveled to play in USJN tournaments and have been invited to play in New York and New Jersey invitational tournaments.
Coach Spolidoro’s team is based and built on commitment, dedication, preparation, emotion, discipline, loyalty, hard work and fun. Coach Spolidoro’s Team First philosophy will bring all of that together and will help him bring his girls skills to the next level. Basketball is important to each of his players, coaches and parents and that will allow us to create a team atmosphere and be successful.
